F.E.A.R: Awesomeness in a very creepy manner

Resident Evil, Half Life, Silent Hill all provided its players with high thrill horror environment, awesome video and audio effects and very ass kicking action sequences but nothing compared to the game F.E.A.R. This games will give you horror action gaming experience like never before.

F.E.A.R (First Encounter Assault Recon) is a first person shooter created by Monolith Studios. In the game, we take the role of character named Point-Man. We are part of the F.E.A.R, an organization which deals with paranormal activity in a very aggressive manner such as using weapons to take out the ghost and creatures.

The atmosphere of the game is very scary than the other action games we have experienced. F.E.A.R is one hell of a scary ride which starts, we hope for it to end soon. You will never know what will happen to you next like for example we are walking in a corridor and suddenly we are somewhere else. There is a creepy little girl called Alma who constantly haunts you throughout the game and appears out of nowhere to inflict more fear and damage inside you. She appears out of closets, locked doors. In a stage, she floated from the floor. In such cases, she is right behind us and we don't know where will she land up next. Also the enemy's AI is also very different and better than other gaming franchises. The zombies are fast and can put a suitable amount of damage on you. They can also crawl on walls and ceilings, so sometimes it become quite challenging to kill them.

The audio and the video effects used in the games are quite awe inspiring and stunning. Monolith Studios has done a splendid job in creating audio and visual aids. The blood, gore and atmosphere influenced music and sounds perfectly suits the environment and the surroundings of the game

There are also various varities of weapons to chose in the gam, but the catch is that we can carry only three guns at a time. There are pistols, assault rifles and machine guns and each have a different firing rate and inflict different amount of damage to the enemy. As we choose more powerful weapons, the chances of performing special moves are less.

Speaking of special moves, F.E.A.R also has a "reflex time" in which the world slows down while the player can perform stunts and shoot at normal speeds. This was inspired by the film, The Matrix. As the player progresses through the game they will be able to pick up shots that will increase the amount of health, and reflex time they have..

To sum it up, Monolith has produced pure awesomeness and this game should be one of the greatest action games ever due to it's atmosphere, audio and visual effects and the ability to psyche people out in the game. i rate this game 9/10...
